Ingredients

  • 1 slice low carb bread
  • 1/2 egg
  • 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon erythritol
  • 1 teaspoon heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pat butter

  • Preheat griddle to 275F or preheat skillet for two minutes on medium heat.
  • Beat egg until it just starts to foam.

  • Douse slice of bread in egg mixture. Coat both sides completely.
  • Place immediately on hot griddle/skillet for three or four minutes on each side or until brown and crispy.
  • Serve with a pat of butter. You can also drizzle on sugar free syrup (optional) or add fruit.
