Low Carb Chicken and Waffles

The classic Southern favorite comfort food made low carb. Tender, juicy chicken is given a crispy coating and placed on top of a low carb waffle covered in 0-carb maple syrup. Cream gavy, spiked with a little chipotle, is poured over the top and crispy bacon is crumbled over that. SO unbelievably good!

  • 1 slice bacon
  • 1 low carb waffle
  • 3 baked chicken strips , low carb
  • 2 tablespoons cream gravy , low carb
  • 1/2 teaspoon chipotle in adobo , mashed to a paste
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon sugar free maple syrup


  • Cook the bacon until crisp.
  • Crumble the cooked bacon.
  • Heat the waffle and the chicken in the oven to keep them crispy.
  • While the waffle is heating warm the cream gravy and stir in the mashed chipotle.
  • Place the waffle on a large plate.
  • Spread with butter.
  • Pour 0-carb maple syrup over the top.
  • Place the hot chicken on top of that.
  • Spoon the hot gravy over the chicken.
  • Sprinkle the crumbled bacon on the top.
