Low-Carb Dr Pepper Barbecue Sauce

Sweet, smoky, and spicy BBQ sauce made with Diet Dr Pepper is delicious over beef, chicken, or pork. It's super easy to make and has just 1.4 carbs per tablespoon!

Ingredients

  • 1 6- ounce can tomato paste make sure it doesn't contain sugar
  • 1 cup diet Dr Pepper
  • 1/3 cup of water or more
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon chipotle
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • Stevia to taste

Instructions

  • Open the tomato paste and put into a blender.
  • Add the remaining ingredients.
  • Blend until smooth.
  • If the mixture is too thick add a little water.
