How many carbs in white wine?

Wait, you are probably asking “How many carbs in white wine?”. Thankfully, this keto With just 2 carbs per 8 ounce serving it’s a pretty, refreshing holiday keto cocktail recipe you’ll use again and again. Use sugar free ginger ale if you like a sweeter, more flavorful cocktail and the club soda if you prefer a drier, fresher flavors.

Your perfect holiday low carb cocktail

Your perfect holiday low carb cocktail

Every year I swear up and down that I will have everything scheduled and ready to go for the holidays. This is so I can concentrate on cooking and baking but every year I find myself sitting here rushing to finish up so I can get my special goodies done. Generally it takes a couple of deep, cleansing breaths and a glass of dry white wine to calm my racing thoughts.

This light dry white wine spritzer is one of my favorites. I like to float frozen cranberries in it to keep it cold, give it just a touch of flavor without the carbs, and make it look “holiday pretty”. If I happen to have a sprig of rosemary I’ll add that in too. Light and sparkly, it’s a full 8 ounces of a keto cocktail with just 2 carbs. And let’s face it, finding a keto alcohol cocktail that you can have on a keto diet is hard to find.

Dry white wine for the holiday win

A dry white wine spritzer isn’t going to hold up to a turkey dinner or perfectly roasted prime rib like red wine such as a heavy Cabernet Sauvignon or rich pinot noir. Dry white wine is a great alcohol to pair with appetizers and snacks. It’s refreshing, not nearly as heavy calorie wise, and doesn’t have dramatically more sugar content.

This low carb alcohol white wine spritzer is perfect when your guests are arriving and you’re serving appetizers. Or when like me, you’re world is imploding with all of the stuff you have to do during the holidays and you need to treat myself to a little alcohol consumption to remind yourself to relax.

I’ve found that the flavor of a dry wine with the oak and citrus flavors of a Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, or even a Sauvignon Blanc I’ve found to be the best wine for this keto recipe. They are so perfectly refreshing when trying to win the holidays while on a keto diet.

A sweet wine like a sparkling wine has a bit too much residual sugar for me being on a keto diet. I’ve tried different keto wine and low carb wine and they just didn’t work for me as I need fewer calories in an alcoholic drink. Low carb white wine spritzer

This one of my favorites for entertaining – no one gets sloshy drunk with too high of an alcohol content. and the cocktails are pretty and delicious. Plus seriously, 2 carbs for 8 ounces? It’s almost the same as drinking water! In the summer add frozen raspberries or strawberries.

This sounds delicious! Do you think it would be okay to mix all ingredients together and serve in a beverage dispenser? Or do they need to be mixed right before serving? Thanks!
