Is a Martini Low Carb?

A vodka martini is the most delish way to have a low carb holiday cocktail. I like to use flavored vodka in this recipe to make it perfect for the holidays. The good news is that most flavored vodka has 0 carbs. Just make sure that your brand doesn’t have carbs in it.

From my frequent visits to the vodka aisle of my favorite liquor store, I’ve found that for the most part, a flavored vodka that is 70 proof or more are carb free. I recommend sticking with the premium brands of vodka such as Belvedere (from Poland), Grey Goose (from France), or Absolut (from Sweden).

When in doubt Google your favorite vodka to check the carb levels. Since we are using flavored vodka and adding lots of Holiday cheer to it, you don’t need to use a top shelf vodka like Belvedere or Grey Goose. I love to use these if I have a plain vodka on the rocks with a twist of lemon as their smooth clean flavor really shines. In this keto recipe, you and your guests won’t know the difference with all the other flavors.

Enjoy the holidays with this creamy Christmas Cookie Keto Martini recipe. Just one net carb/serving. Low carb Christmas Cocktails !

What cocktail has the least amount of carbs?

If you know me, you know that I really love a great keto cocktail. I think they are fun to experiment with and they are one thing that I can almost always create a low carb copy of that I like as well (or better) than the original. This Christmas cookie keto martini recipe has just one carb and it’s SO creamy and delicious you’ll want to sip it all night long. Using a zero carb vodka is the best alcohol to use while living a low carb lifestyle or on a keto diet. This martini will keep you in ketosis with just one net carb. You’ll want to have one in your hand at all times because they are so tasty.

As delish as this holiday keto martini is, you won’t want to drink tons of them. You won’t because it’s super rich and you’ll be satisfied. You won’t because this cocktail has an enormous amount of alcohol in it. The fun part is that after a couple of these you’ll be seeing the Northern Lights…. even if you live in Texas.

Yep, there’s a story about that. You knew it, right?

The inspiration for Keto Martini cocktails

When I was growing up in the 1960s, the culture was much different than it is now. If you’ve ever watched the tv show Mad Men then you actually have a pretty good idea of what I’m talking about. There were cocktail parties and poker parties every weekend at my house. The alcohol flowed pretty freely and I used to sit on the stairs long after I was supposed to be in bed and watch the adults pound cocktail after cocktail.

This Christmas cookie keto martini recipe is easily good enough to allow you to see the Northern Lights, Santa, and Rudolph, too. I think that next time I’ll rim the martini glass with red and green sprinkles because the carbs would be minimal and it would be pretty – but that’s up to you.

Happy Christmas with low carb Christmas Cocktails !

This Christmas cookie keto martini recipe could easily be made in a punch bowl for a holiday party too. Just be sure to stir it well before serving.

Christmas Cookie Keto Martini Recipe

Smooth, creamy, sweet… this low xarb Christmas Cookie Martini is so easy to make but it comes off as being so professional! It’s a beautiful holiday keto cocktail that you’ll love all season long. If you like this keto recipe please consider giving it a 5 star rating below.

You’ll notice I don’t use carb laden ingredients like simple syrup or cranberry juice in my Christmas cocktail recipe. There are ways to add amazing flavor and stay on my keto diet. Sugar free syrups, flavored vodka, and heavy cream give this low carb cocktail recipe tons of flavor but only has one net carb.

I tried to add things like lemon juice or lime juice but those work better in something like a keto lemon drop martini or my Pineapple Cake.
